Q: How do you see this developing long term?
A: I see a very strong future for it.
I’m fully convinced by the supply chain model we’re building. Drawing on my background in manufacturing environments, it’s one of those ideas that feels obvious once you step back and look at it. The question becomes why hasn’t this been done properly before?
What the commercial fleet market needs is capacity, space, inspection capability, logistics, and leading suppliers working together at a central point. That’s exactly what we’re developing at the Coseley Facility.
The site itself is expanding quickly. We’re adding a new compound at the lower end of the site, which will give us capacity for around 1,200 to 1,500 vehicles at any one time. Our logistics partners are scaling up, and overall capability is increasing all the time.
As Mediafleet continues to grow the branding side of the business, my role is to scale the supply chain operation alongside it and deliver more project-managed fleet programmes through the site. Everything we’re seeing so far suggests this model has a long-term future in the UK fleet market.
